  • ACHI micro-finance operations is specifically focused on providing micro- business management skill training, capacity building, technical assistance, micro-savings, micro-loans and micro-insurance schemes to the vulnerable and the rural poor people who are engaged in agriculture and small-scale business activities, especially women and the unemployed youth.

    The microfinance services operations of ACHI, covers the following income-generating activities within the deprived rural poor communities to enable the poor increase incomes, build assets, reduce their vulnerability, and allows households to move from everyday survival to planning for the future.

    The income-generating activities supported by ACHI (NGO) is as follows;-

    • Agricultural Enterprises
    • Agricultural Marketing/Food security
    • Food Crop Production
    • Agro-Processing
    • Petty Trading
    • Inland water Fishing
    • Cottage Industries
    • Livestock Production/Rearing
    • Retailing
    • Fish Mongering
    • Artisans/Metal works
    • Crop Transporting


    The organization (ACHI) shall also involve itself in community based developmental projects (such as, construction of bore-holes/dugout wells, food crop storage facilities, construction of market centers, construction small-scale irrigation projects, renovation/construction of school buildings, construction of community clinics, construction of community drainage systems, construction of toilets, building of affordable housing units for low-income earners, farmers etc) in the rural communities where the organization operates to improve quality of living and create employment opportunities for the youth to reduce the rural/urban migration of young people.
